My Favorite Child

Do you have a favorite child?

I have three!!

I have a favorite eldest child.

I have a favorite middle child.

I have a favorite youngest child.

I know that the three of them would agree on one thing – that this is not true. They would be wrong because it is true.  I could not (and would never be able to) select just one as my overall favorite. 

They all have their strengths.  They all have their faults. 

They all have been good. They all have been bad. 

They all have made me proud. They all have made me shake my head in confusion and roll my eyes. 

They all have made me laugh and cry – sometimes at the same time. 

Each one is special in their own way and holds a precious place in my heart.

I love my three children!
