To Understand Signs from Beyond

I believe in signs from “beyond”. For some people it is cardinals; for others it is butterflies. Some believe it is coins that they randomly find. Some believe it is a specific squirrel (it’s a interesting and funny story that I may tell later). Others believe it is a phrase or word. I believe all of these are real.

For me, though, I’ve been finding those little craft “gems” since my mother passed away. You know what I mean – these “gems” are plastic and flat on the back so that they can be glued to things. I have found them in weird places – in books, in my bed, on my dresser, on counters, in the washer and dryer, and a lot of other places. I have asked out loud what it means and still have no answer. I finally started saving them and have a little pile now.

This week things went a step further. I was sitting at the kitchen table doing my nails (I do my own nail dips now because of COVID-19). I heard something hit the floor. I looked down and found a silver butterfly earring backing. No, it was not mine. I was wearing lever-back earrings and gold twist on/off butterfly backing studs.

Two days later, there is a gold butterfly earring backing on the kitchen table. My husband found it in the garage. We all checked and none of us are missing a backing in the earrings we are wearing.

My signs are there and I am trying to figure out what they mean. Mine aren’t the normal signs but that’s okay. I’m a little odd so it so it is to be expected.
