One day, when I was a teenager, I was walking through the town square on my way to the bank. There were many people milling around. I didn’t know what was happening and was not interested so I kept saying, “Excuse me.” as I zigged and zagged through this throng of people. Suddenly these humongous hands grabbed my hand and shook it. I looked up and saw the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. The humongous hands were gentle and soft. The eyes radiated kindness, peace, and love. His face was . . . beautiful is the only word that I can come up with. A sense of calm came over me. I knew who I was shaking hands with. I now knew why these people were in the square. They were hoping to meet the man I had just accidentally met. . . The Greatest! Muhammad Ali!
